Local-first storage

Your clocks, encounters, and bestiary unlock state are stored in your browser using localStorage. They never leave your device unless you choose to export them. Storage keys used: vgm:clocks, vgm:encounters, vgm:bestiary-unlocked, vgm:onboarded, vgm:analytics-opt-out.

Anonymous analytics

We use PostHog to capture anonymous, lightweight usage events (page views, feature usage). We do not capture mouse movement, typing, screen recordings, or personal information. You can opt out at any time from Settings.

No accounts required

The toolkit currently does not require an account. There is no sign-in, no email collection, and no profile.

Export & import

You may export all of your local data as a JSON file at any time from Settings. You may also import a previously-exported JSON file to restore it on the same or a different device.

Feedback submissions

Feedback you submit through the in-app feedback button is stored on our backend so we can read it. We capture the message, type (bug / idea / feature), the page you were on, and your browser user-agent string. Do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages.

Third-party services

  • PostHog (analytics, US Cloud)
  • Lovable Cloud (hosting and feedback storage)
